Whenever I think about it, it always makes me really nervous. I hope he stays in Detroit for the rest of his career, but the darker side of me says he wont. I can't imagine the Tigers without him. He should be a Tiger for life. If not, gotta enjoy him while he is here

I'm enjoying him while he's here. If that means for the rest of his career, Great! If that means he's gone in 3 years, well there's always booze.

I mean it would be a great thing for him to stay, but if he wants something similar to the ARod contract, I will be glad to tell my children I was able to go to Comerica to watch Cabrera hit homers all over the park.

ESPN commented on that article and said Miggy should get more then Pujols got and might even get more then ARod "if he hits the open market". They also said, they think he would return to Detroit even if he hits the market.

I hear you...I still don't think that the Tigers can have all three at $20M+ per season. They can afford 2 but I don't see them going in on all three (Cabby, Prince, AND Cylander).

Yeah definitely something I don't want to think about for too long until the day comes.

They win a WS trophy next year and they don't have to sign both Verlander and Cabrera.

Makes no sense. Once you win doesn't mean you sell off your team ala Marlins. You still want to make money and not keeping the guys that draw the biggest crowds isn't teh way to do that.
