Except Arias wasn't that good with the bat. Martin was/is much better.

Can someone explain to me how the Rangers have a good lineup?????? I dodn't even like their lineup with Hamilton, Napoli, and Michael Young ... they don't have anything now ... Beltre is their only very good hitter

They may not be top 5 anymore, but there's still Beltre, Moreland, Cruz, Kinsler, Andrus, and possibly Olt. They're not what they used to be, but they have good hitters.

Yes but you listed them in the top 5 as well as many other people on here

No I didn't. I just said they were better than the Giants (which could be debatable after looking back on it).

Honestly I'd go with Giants lineup over Rangers ... and that's coming from a guy who doesn't think much of the Giants lineup

Tigers aren't the best, but their lineup is much better (on paper) than it was at the start of last season IMO.

    Last year's opening day roster...

    Austin Jackson
Brennan Boesch (.658 OPS) Replaced with Torrii Hunter (.816 OPS)
    Miguel Cabrera
    Prince Fielder
Delmon Young (.707 OPS) Replaced with Victor Martinez (.850 OPS)
Ryan Raburn (.480 OPS) Replaced with Andy Dirks (.857 OPS)
    Jhonny Peralta
    Alex Avila
Ramon Santiago (.555 OPS) Replaced with Omar Infante (.719 OPS)

They seriously had 4 players in the opening day lineup who arguably don't even belong on major league rosters...except maybe Santiago as a utility guy.

Tigers, Angels, Blue Jays, Reds, Cardinals, Nats in that order.

Tigers are a better only because they have a solid #2 hitter.
