Lol you don't see him leaving for 2-4 million more PER YEAR?! your cute man lol I dunno what fairy tale your in but this is life and peoples jobs and family ... its not one mill extra a year its more like 3 mill a year extra if u think he would turn that down to stay here your delusional
He didn't seem to do too much to have our own superstar stay here with Dwight so I think your over estimating how much he is valued by other players, mainly superstars
And honestly he had one of the best situations for him while Dwight was here.. A guy down low who demands a double team where he can get open looks and let's be honest he wasn't overly productive .. He looks a lot better now because of pure volume but he is not and will never be a guy who you can say okay we are set at SG bc we got JJ
Hes a complimentary piece...why spend money on a sixth man at best when you don't have a starting 5 set for the future
He doesn't have to pay taxes on that in Florida. So it isn't actually as much as you think Einstein. I love the half thought out responses you guys come up with. You brought up family. You think he wants to uproot his family for maybe a few extra hundred thousand a year? Just to be trade bait everywhere he goes? You my friend are cute. He's openly said in the media he'll take less to stay. He has privately said he do whatever it takes to stay. So when it comes to what he has said in front of me or what some forum jockey who gushes over Eric Bledsoe says...consider the source.
JJ himself.
http://www.sportstalkflorida.com/jj-...aumann-show-2/“First of all, I don’t think that I’m eligible to get an extension right now because I’m on a 3-year deal, so in terms of re-signing and locking up now, that’s not a possibility, so there’s hasn’t been talk there. Rob (Hennigan) and I talked back in August and Rob knows my agent (Arn Tellum) fairly well so I don’t think I’ll be blindsided by any trade. The trade story that came out the other day that was on HOOPSHYPE was more of a non-story than anything else, so I wasn’t too frazzled by that or anything. Chelsea (J.J.’s wife) and I have obviously had a lot of discussions over the past few months and we would love to be in Orlando. I don’t know what’s going to happen at the trade deadline. The Magic have to do what’s best for the organization and if I am here post-deadline and I finish the season here, they have to make the decision about what’s best for the future of the franchise, but I’d like to be a part of that. I think that I fit in with the culture and what they’re trying to build. I’m about winning and about improving and getting better every day and as they move forward toward the future I think I’ll be a great fit here.”
I love jj and I'd love it if he stayed if the price was right but it won't happen...
Maybe u should think about your own half thought responses bro you actually think he would be leaving just for a few hundred thousands when taxes are considered? If he was making 3-4 more million then we were offering to pay then he would still be making millions more not just a few hundred thousand ...
I hype bledsoe because I like him he is like a westbrook to me ... don't talk to me about judging talent bro you just said that cousins doesn't have talent and doesn't know how to play ball ... that's just ignorant. .. your the biggest joke of a magic fan I've seen in this forum since the user d12fan was in here lol

Lol the no state income tax is not even that much money saved to be honest. It only applies to games played in Florida, so either way he's paying taxes on 41 games.
And "a few extra hundred thousand"? It's more like $2-3M a year. I think we'd pay JJ $7M a year, but not $9-10 that he's gonna get.
Magic. Red Sox. Colts. Knights.
^^^ exactly
Def did not mean to offend, sorry if I did.
But yeah, the Magic basically told Dwight if he didn't opt in, he would be a Laker by the end of that day, and at the time, he didn't want to go to LA to follow in Shaq's footsteps or be Kobe's sidekick. So he opted in to avoid being traded.
Magic. Red Sox. Colts. Knights.
To bad he held us hostage and dictated where he would go cause we could have gotten such a good package back for him had he been willing to go more places... my fav would have been a thunder deal....
Thats why I now despise him lol
