Not that it really matters at this point, but...
#RL Jets have placed WR Stephen Hill (knee) on injured reserve and have signed CB Donnie Fletcher from practice squad to active roster.

This is too bad because S. Hill needs all the experience he can get.
If B. Edwards continues to have a strong showing - do we let him go again, or do we resign him - I say sign him - but for not very much money, maybe an incentive laden contract. he also could help Hill develop as they're both "big fast WRs."
GO JETS!!!
Player A: 22 rec / 283 yds / 2 TD's / 10 Games
Player B: 21 rec / 252 yds / 3 TD's / 11 Games
Those are the rookie numbers from Demayrius Thomas and Stephen Hill. Both GT products. Both drafted fairly high, both have elite physical skills and both struggled in their rookie years. Hill needs to work on his game and continue to get better. This upcoming off-season will be huge for him.
...What a coordinated flop looks like...
more playing time for braylon
I'd like to see what Braylon can really bring us when he's giving actual playing time with McElroy. Maybe BE plays well these last 2 games and we bring him back or he becomes completely confused with our new offense and we don't bring him back![]()
Props To CheapTrikz For The Sig
Surprisingly, it looks like Cimini nailed it:
Hill showed me some stuff. Wasn't a great rookie season by any stretch of the imagination. But I like what he can bring to the table. He's got some work to do.ESPN New York's Rich Cimini nominates second-round WR Stephen Hill as the Jets' "biggest disappointment" heading into the season.
"Talented, but oh so raw," writes Cimini. "Needs time to develop, but he doesn't have that luxury on this team." Hill has been lost as an NFL route runner after being limited to "go" routes in Georgia Tech's run-dominant offense. He's not worthy of roster spot in redraft fantasy leagues.
I think Hill will be a nice addition to the WR core in a year or two, as for Edwards i would sign that man!

He was showing improvement the last few games, he will be fine next year.
Jets top selling jersey
Good point.
Funny how much they are similar to each other.
Both have great speed.
Both have a knack for making tough catches.
Both have a knock for dropping easy passes.
Both have prototypical size for a WR.
And both had/have to develop their games as rookies.
I expect Hill to make significant strides over the next year.
