Ellsbury? and might as well throw in Lester...Let's Make a Deal
They do need pitching though. If the Mets plan on Duda being in right field this year Bourjos would be really key to make up for some of the ground lost by Duda.
I would prefer Fowler but considering his splits he may not be worth what the Rockies demand in a trade.
I was looking at the FA pool again and besides Hairston & Ross there's really not much there that seems to align with the Mets plans (cheap until someone better can take over in 14/15). Could gamble with Sizemore but meh. Since Puma's report stated it's an OF not previously tied to the Mets I would assume it'll be a trade. Fowler could make sense I guess.

League minimum for Carlos Lee perhaps? Can he still play LF?
I just read it could be Coco Crisp from Oakland
I think they're better off resigning Hairston and giving him an expanded role like he wants. We don't need Duda in the outfield. He's trade bait.
Look at the ground Bourjos covers:

What about Tony Campana? He's got speed, still young and should come pretty cheap.
Or I would love to bring Gomez back to Queens. He could be expendable for the Brewers since he's a 1 year rental.
Here are my top 5. I'm going by who I think is available btw.
1. Peter Bourjos
2. Carlos Gomez
3. Dexter Fowler
4. Tony Campana
5. Coco Crisp
