    Mets to add outfielder.

the mets are closing in on adding an outfielder, according to mike puma of the new york post. Puma's source tells him that the player hasn't previously been linked to the mets (twitter links). Puma doesn't specify if the acquisition would come via free agency or trade. New york has previously been linked to cody ross, which seems to rule him out.

    GO METS!

19 Inning game...and the Pirates get ROBBED! Jerry Meals should get FIRED! And then just work for the Braves. What a shame for baseball.

I have the strangest feeling that it's Chris Denorfia.

I'm all for Sanchez, I hear he can really turn (over) the ball.

    JK.

    Who is Sanchez?

    ^Mark Sanchez...

And maybe it's Dexter Fowler? I somehow feel the move for Syndergaard might be to set up another trade

He copied and pasted too much, it was in reference to Anibal Sanchez leaving money on the table when signing with the Tigers.

As long as resources for 2014-2015 and beyond aren't being sacrificed, I'm for anything.

It's a rebuilding year, so almost anything would be good, though like I've said before, I'd like to give Duda one more chance to see if he turns out to be something. If he doesn't, then we can let him go.

COL was asking for Mike Minor from the Braves for Fowler. I don't think he's worth that. I definitely would not be in favor of trading Syndergaard for Fowler.

    Do 4 INT's equate to 4 PO's?

Fowler's a beast in Colorado, but as soon as he leaves the thin air of Coors Field, he's a pussycat. Look at his away splits. Then pass on him. Please.

Yeah. Besides he is 26 already, and he probably had a career year. He'll be back to .260 avg a year, and bad road numbers.

    I'll pass on Fowler.
