When I closed the other one, I didn't realize how close they were to a deal apparently.

I'm gonna cry when I see TDA in a Mets uniform next season. Then those tears will turn into tears of joy when the Jays make the playoffs. Interesting that it sounds like the deal has been expanded. This is how the Toronto/Miami deal started. AA calls them up asking about Josh Johnson, they ask for too much, deal expands into a huge trade. Sounds like the same thing here. Mets want TDA, AA thinks it's too much, deals expanded.

It will be an expanded deal but Jays fans can not realistically expect Niese/Davis in the deal also. Dickey already is a huge piece, adding those and Sandy Alderson will need to leave town in a plane because the Met fans will go after him like hounds.
