Nice sign, wanted this one for the Cubs but the FO was busy not adding talent elsewhere.

Very good signing for Philly. I've always wanted him on the Mets.

Why Dont the Phillies realize they are no longer contenders??? Throwing money at a much bigger problem a la Mets under Omar

When you have Halladay/Lee/Hamels you are a contender.... Factor in a 2nd wildcard spot and why wouldn't we fill holes in a very good division?

Plus, they still finished .500 even with a ******, injury filled first half. I expect them to be a high 80, low 90 win team in 2013.

They aren't contenders because they went .500 without their two best hitters and their ace for most of the year? Guess they need to wake up.

No ruiz 50 games plus his past season was ENHANCED. Lee and Halladay are both aging and regressing. Utley and Howard both regressing BIG time. No Victorino/No Pence. Thats not a team competing with the Nats or any of the WC teams from this year
