...as posted on the other thread here is my top 50.
Has Allan Dykstra really fallen THAT far off the radar for you guys? I'd think with his OBP/Moderate power, he'd still have a shot at breaking through. I always pegged him for a Matt Stairs pinch-hitter type career.
Yeah Sick, I'm surprised you're not a fan of Bourjous at all.
I understand he's offensively limited, but if we have him in CF, he's a gold glover. I also agree that his 2011 numbers are far more indicative of his abilities, and that's a guy I would sign up for any day. As long as he cost something that was more on the Mazzoni+ line, I'd be fine with him.
He would make having Duda out there tolerable, and he's cheap/under control. It would let us be sound up the middle, and then we can fill in LF/RF with boppers in FA next year. I'd be all aboard.
Why not just put Matt Den Decker in CF then. Den Decker would give you Gold Glove caliber defense right now
When comparing den Dekker and Bourjos, you have to take into account that they are the same exact age. He's not as good defensively and he's probably going to K way more. I like den Dekker, but he needs to learn some plate discipline and stop striking out.
If we have a chance for Bourjos, I'd love to get him.
