Niese, Santana or Harvey?
Santana has been injury prone the past 3 years. Harvey is a rookie but will he take the next step? I'm not sure if Niese is a capable #1.

For monetary and contractual purposes i would think it would be Santana at this point but i could see Collins announcing Niese as the opening day starter if he pitches really well in ST.
Johan will get the opening day start and he will be the appointed ace, but Niese is probably the best pitcher they have right now.
Niese.

I think the rotation will go Santana/Niese/Gee/Harvey/Mejia
The Mets will put Harvey 4th just to attempt to take media pressure off of him.
^I agree... That's how I see the rotation also

Pretty much, expect I'd switch Gee and Harvey. Even though 2013 will not be a good year, if Santana can get back to what he did in the first half, a Santana/Niese/Harvey 1, 2, 3 is very efficient. I don't think Gee is anything higher than a 4. He's still a solid SP, though.
OD starting pitcher, Johan, of course. Followed by Niese, Harvey, Gee and a casting agency.
Remember when Pelfrey was our opening day starter? LOL.
Johan, Harvey, Niese, Gee, Mejia
Breaks up the lefties if that matters.
Johan, Harvey, Niese.
Niese might be our best pitcher (unless Johan is 100%, which I damn hope he is), but him at #3 gives us lefty, righty, lefty, righty, right
FoC abstains.
Courteously.
Now the Zen master says, "We'll see."
Johan will definitely be starting the year as our #1 assuming he's healthy...I could see a change occurring after a month or so, however.
