I think people forget how good Morrow was last year because of his unfortunate injury

I have much higher hopes for him this year than i do for JJ

Yeah I know but at this point he has to be. They also want to re-sign Johnson and they arent going to do that by tell him he's a #4.

You cant have three righties, two lefties either.

So someone gets screwed....and because Morrow is host, he'll take the hit and welcome the other three guys...

Johann you're killing with the Jenneke signature. I re-read your post three times before I digested any of the words.

It might be a good idea to start Romero. Not that he deserves it but if all his physical issues-bone chips- are cleared than a show of faith might work wonders on his confidence. The Jays need him back to his pre 2012 form.

Seeing this as our rotation brings a small tear to my eye. Wow... Never imagined I'd see such a brilliant staff in toronto ever again.

Oh and you start dickey imo.

Our rotation is pretty balanced, so I would set up the rotation based on the first weeks schedule. Games 4, 5 and 6 are against Boston and I would prefer to have at least 2 righties in that series against Napoli and Gomes who both are great against lefties and struggle a bit vs righties. I know it's nitpicky, but once the first week is gone it's just go out every 5 days. I would go with:
    Dickey
    Johnson
    Buehrle
    Morrow
    Romero

after looking at the schedule, I'd swap around Romero and Dickey, so it would be:

    Morrow
    Buehrle
    Johnson
    Dickey
    Romero

I like the thought of Morrow and Dickey going back to back because you have a super hard thrower one day followed by a soft thrower the next. Keeps teams off balance

Dickey is the elder statesman and reigning Cy Young winner, he's the anchor of this staff so of course he should be starting on opening day.
