Another thing a lot of people are missing with the Red Sox signings is that if one or two of those guys rebound in Boston then they could become decent trade bait at the deadline. To give you an example if Dempster is on pace for 180-200 IP with an ERA around or just below 4 at the deadline then what is that worth to team in contention that needs some pitching help? Or if Victorino can prove he can still get on base and steal few what is that worth to contender in need of a leadoff hitter?
