There are a few trades the Tigers made that completely robbed the other team.

The Miguel trade. The one where we got Fister.

Also there 3 team trade between ARI NY AND DET was nice for each team.

Det got, Austin Jackson, Scherzer, Coke.

    NY got Granderson

ARI got Edwin Jackson and Ian Kennedy

I don't know if you can get much worse than Lou Brock, Jack Spring, and Paul Toth for Ernie Broglio, Doug Clemens and Bobby Shantz.

Not just because it was such a one-sided trade, but the Cubs could have had Brock, Banks, Santo, Williams, and Jenkins throughout the late 60's and early 70's.

Phillies trade Curt Schilling for Travis Lee, Nelson Figueroa, Omar Daal and Vicente Padilla. He basically forced the trade, but damn did we get destroyed on that one.

Those would be signs. I read that joke and felt the life suck out of the room around me.

The then Tampa Bay Devil Rays selected Bobby Abreu from the Astros in the 1997 expansion draft only to deal him hours later for Kevin freaking Stocker per a prearranged agreement.

That last trade wasn't a robbery. It worked out rather well for everybody.

I'd say they won by quite a bit, not a landslide but they definitely came out on top imo.

Pierzynski was great for SF(1 Season), while Nathan & Liriano ended up giving the Twins a few good years each. Guess if Piersynzky ended up staying it would've been a different story

Jermaine Dye for Keith Lockhart and Michael Tucker
Adrian Gonzalez and Chris Young for Adam Eaton
Aramis Ramirez from the Pirates to the Cubs
    Jose Bautista for a PTBNL
The Randy Johnson trade from the Expos should be near the top.
Jason Varitek and Derek Lowe for Heathcliffe Slocumb
    Sammy Sosa for George Bell
Mark McGwire for 3 prospects who never did anything
