I think they had an elite roster before this latest deal. In your eyes does the addition of Justin Upton push their roster to elite status?

Pretty much.
The team was thin on stars prior to the trade which limited the roster's upside despite great depth. Adding Upton and subtracting Prado and Delgado add another 2 wins to the roster on paper. They're a good bet to pass 90 wins now.Now writing for The Hardball Times
