    @AdamRubinESPN
    Toronto Star article: GM Alex Anthopoulos went to Dickey's Nashville home, and the two-year extension likely will be worth more than $26M.
    "The way they play offense here is difficult for any quarterback," he said. "Every snap is an incredible decision. They're in a one-back offense, they can't run the ball against certain looks so they have to audible to some kind of a pass or a creative run to get away from trouble.
    "There's never a play in the game where Stafford can just turn around, hand the ball off and catch his breath. Every play he's researching the defense and they throw as much as anyone."

    Sigh-last summer I dropped close to $400 on a Majestic authentic white Jays jersey with #15 D'Arnaud. I will still wear it -along with my JMac jersey.
    Sigh -if you see it at the park just call me on it and I'll buy you a beer for my foolishness. Have to dig up my gawd awful looking Barfield jersey for this season.
    I'm thinking Reyes-hope it's a safe choice !

    I will look for you at the games and if I see you in the D'Arnaud jersey I will buy you a new one on the spot. I am going to buy a bunch of Dickey and Reyes jerseys for the grandkids. Can anyone confirm what their #s will be for me? I want to get them for Christmas.

    So we now have him for 3 years for a total of 30M. That's really pretty amazing, even if he does regress a little.

    With Dickey in agreement pending physical as per @Ken_Rosenthal, #BlueJays have $125.6m on books for '13, $102.5m for '14, $89.25m for '15
    ShiDavidi
    Correction, $119.1m on #BlueJays books for '13 including Oliver, arb projections for Bonifacio, Rasmus, Happ. 0-3 renewals remain atop that

    I guess now you guys understand why you had to give so much to get him, lol. 3 years/$30 million is absurd for a pitcher of Dickey's caliber.
