Pretty sure they "accidentally" said Ric Flair right before the break was intentional. It created a buzz on the internet and got people to tune in. It must have been a last minute thing to get him in or they would have promoted it a week in advance.

They didn't mention his name but they said they had a special guest to name the Superstar of the Year while playing his entrance music and having WOOOOO in the background LOL. Wasn't hard to figure out who it would be. I really was going to lose it if all he did was introduce Cena for the award and then sit up there and go all baby face with Cena but luckily enough they had Punk come out which was great and then the Sheild on top of that and his in ring promo about the city of Philly was awesome. Take que Mick that is how you get a face reaction when trying to suck up to the hometown crowd and not just by continuing to say the city name.

Im surprised it did that bad of a rating coming off a PPV and the Jets/Titans being the MNF game as well as most shows going into their winter breaks. Maybe everyone still had a bad taste from last years awful Slammys to not tune in especially if they had the thought that Arquette would open the show again.
