The past two years the leading rusher for washington had less than 750 yards. Morris doubled that this year, the kid has some talent

I'm not sure which one is better but the Browns are still stupid for taking a RB that early

They were saying if Richardson was on Redskins he would have alot more yds.? Morris has over 1600 So how many would they of had with Richardson 2000?

Olandis Gary and Mike Anderson had 1200 and 1500 yards in their rookie seasons, respectively...Both coached by Mike Shannahan. Both played less than 7 seasons. Morris is probably more talented than both, but I'm not going to buy his hype. Alot easier with the threat of RG3

He definitely has talent, but I expect him to fall in line with other RBs to that 1,200 yd range. Very good season, and he does deserve credit for it though.

Another reason for the production: RG3 and the new offense. No John Beck/Rex Grossman/Donovan McNabb.

Yeah I agree I doubt he gets 1600 yds every year.

You really think if he went to another team he would have had the same production?

I never denied that he has talent. But the Shanahan system makes running backs look better than they are pretty often. The reason they had no running game the last two years (as I'm sure you know, because you're a redskins fan) is because they had no quarterback to speak of. It's easy to stop the running game when you can load the box.

No one ever said Morris is garbage or anything. But he's not nearly as good as his numbers indicate he is

Im not doubting that at all, I know the QBs have a big effect on that.

Id be happy with 1200 yards a season for 6 more years from him.

Is Richardson still better than Morris to most people? Is the Colts running scheme not that good also?
