I was starting to gain confidence in him last week...then that first kick happened.

Then McCarthy was asked about his confidence in the kicking game:
"We are not changing our kicker, so you can write that down right now. He is our guy. He needs to make those kicks; he knows that.

Its not often that i disagree with McCarthy and Thompson but this is gna cost us come playoff time.

We are not a serious contender with him kicking field goals. How can we when we dont even send him out for a 42 yard field goal. Thats killing us!

I love how ppl say he is a top 10 kicker lol. I also love that we keep him because apparently he has such a strong leg, yet on every kick off Olindo Mare kicked it just as far. And was like 3-3 on his attempts.

Mike made bold statement, "He is our kicker". If he's your kicker, then use him.

TT better step in and make one of his classic emotionless, executive decisions.

Just amazing that he has confidence in him. He is 17 of 29. Almost 50% for field goals. That just does not happen.

7-10 from 40-49 yards isn't bad... but he was 7-8 going into yesterday's game. He better turn it around quick because you can't win playoff games without some semblence of a kicking game. 50+ forget it. There is no reason to even line up for one unless it's indoors or at the end of the half or game.

I see a lot of 4th and 6 situations with the Packers going for it.

Just makes me wonder if this a MM or TT who is afraid to get rid of him. I think TT has basically told MM he isn't getting cut so deal with it. TT hates owning up to mistakes when it comes to people he drafted. Look how long we kept Harrell. It's a joke Crosby is still on this team. He has never been great. He has had decent seasons but nothing remarkable and even before this year he has been known to get into slumps. Those slumps have never been this terrible though.

I tried to defend him but I can't do it anymore. He's a talented guy, had a good year last year. We all know it's a slump and it's in his head. But at what point does he turn it around? At this point in the season I don't think we can afford the wait. But by the looks of it by what MCcarthy said it's sink or swim with him.

Wouldn't that be something? I think every Packers fans eyes would be closed the entire time.
