Yah, Stanton will not be traded to us anytime soon. If it's true the Pirates want to trade Hanrahan, I'd be interested in trading Morales for Hanrahan plus maybe a prospect. The only problem might be that we would then have Madson, who we promised the closing role to, and Hanrahan who's a damn good closer.

Hanrahan is legit, but id still take Wilson over him as a set up man. Just in case Madson doesn't do to well could switch roles.

how about nolasco and stanton for bourjos, morales, cron, conger and prospect.

If they trade straight up PB for Nolasco this will underline my thought DePoto has no clue on SP. May be the reason why he was below average on the mound. Why trade a player we have control over, at a reasonable cost, and a position many teams are looking to trade for Nolasco is a number 4 or 5 who will have a high ERA while making 11.5. If this is the route he is going, sign Jackson, and trade PB or Morales for teams top SP prospects. NY Mets, Atl, Tampa and stock up our system.

It's only speculation. Rumors. Save the frustration. Many journalists try to find potential fits and will report their ideas. GMs listen on almost everything and player. So greedy around these parts. I'm much more content with DiPoto calling the shots then Reagans a few years ago.

Yes, the outfield would be so crowded if they traded Bourjos and somehow got Stanton in return. It would be way too difficult to play Stanton over Trumbo...

We would literally trade our farm for another OF we are trying to trade our OF for SP. Not another OF. It would be a dumb trade. Our targets should be Helickson, Masterson, Garza, and Nolasco on the trading market. FA players; we should look at Jackson, Loshe, and Marcum.

I heard this Drew Smyly a southpaw is available from the tigers n they need a centerfielder is he a good pitcher? Is he worth it if we give them bourjous?

I would like the angels to just sign edwin jackson n if we need to trade someone will do it before the trading deadline...

If the Angels didn't give Hunter a QO this year after an amazing year, what makes you think they will give Morales a QO next year? Not a chance.

because kendrys wont be 37 lol, they were afraid he would take the Offer which they shouldn't have been and i wish they did make the offer but oh well, with Kendrys he will be looking for a multi-year deal and if he has a good year likely wouldn't take a 1 year deal.

What if JeDi were to do something completely crazy, and trade Morales/callaspo/Conger for a 3b, not a pitcher? Seems unlikely, but wouldn't it at least cross his mind? I wonder what available good 3b are out there that are tradable.

Ill be down for a pb n wells for nolasco n will pay nolasco remaining salary n they csn keep their prospect as long as they take wells n his remaining 2 yrs

I would only sign Wilson if we're able to get an adequate starting pitcher for Morales instead of just a relief pitcher. I don't like the idea of having two pitchers in the bullpen coming off Tommy John surgery and I really don't like Wilson much in the first place.

No they don't. They have Austin Jackson who received MVP votes last year. As for Edwin Jackson, I don't see the point in signing another pitcher when we have the available resources to now trade for one.

I agree with him. I think that'd be a good trade for both sides. But what Harold Reynolds thinks will happen rarely ever does, so I doubt it will happen.

It'd be a really dumb move if he did that. Our offense is fine at this point. Our pitching is iffy. Simply adding more offense doesn't make up for bad pitching. Plus Kaleb Cowart should be ready in about a year.
