You know what I am hoping for??? That the Yankees end up taking Vernon Wells from us. Come on JeDi!!! Close the deal.
L.A. Angels/ Atlanta Falcons/ Anaheim Ducks/ L.A. Clippers
I know Vladdy doesn't want this to happen , but I wouldn't mind signing Loshe to a 3yr 36M contract. Don't know if he will cost more than that. It makes our rotation solid and we still need a "solid" starter to compete with the Tigers.
MIKE TROUT FOR MVP!!!!!
Going back to what was being said before, I don't know why the Tigers would have a need for Bourjos. They need a corner outfielder not a center fielder.
I'd rather sign Marcum.

Hamilton's contract will only pay him 15 million this year. So Vaddy take 10 off, and if he are able to dump Wells and save 8 more this year, now we may have about 12 for the final SP
If we pickup 40 we should get something decent back. If we trade him for a non prospect I would think he would be worth whatever Cody Ross would receive. More thank 1 million a year.
Per Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com, Hamilton’s contract includes a no-trade clause and is slightly backloaded. He will make $15 million in the first year of the contract.
Hamilton’s $25 million AAV (average annual value) ties him with Ryan Howard for the second-highest in baseball, trailing only Alex Rodriguez‘s $27.5 million AAV. Hamilton’s new teammate Albert Pujols has an AAV of $24 million on his deal.
Does not say anything about a signing bonus. Hopefully similar to Alberts and only 15 million, giving us a little play money.
MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez and Mike DiGiovanna of The Los Angeles Times have the contract breakdown (Twitter links). Hamilton gets $10MM up front and will earn $15MM in 2013 and 2014, $23MM in 2015, and $30MM in 2016 and 2017. The remaining $2MM goes to his charity. DiGiovanna and Bill Shaikin of The Los Angeles Times report that the contract does not include any special language regarding Hamilton's off-the-field problems

Stand corrected. Too bad it is not a little back loaded year 1.
