This is a big mystery for our team.
Camby is exactly what the Knicks need, rebounding and shot blocking, a defensive force in the paint. It's kind of confusing why he hasn't gotten the opportunity he deserves.
They have to find minutes for him, especially on nights where they are getting outrebounded badly. He's on a three year deal, too.
Although it's a complete different situation, it reminds of when the Knicks had no room for Anthony Randolph two seasons ago on their bench.
He's injured. And/or not in very good shape. Rasheed also is a better player...maybe on both ends, and Amare will take away a lot of his opportunities.
When Amare returns everything will fall into it's place as far as backup center, rebounding, scoring consistency, 3pt reliance, points in the paint, blocked shots, lineup versatility...etc. etc...
Does anyone realize that Camby and Amare might be considered an on the court Pairing going forward.... patience folks patience.

Grundy traded for Camby and Woodson went to Rasheed talked him into coming out of retirement.
