I don't know if the Marlins would even trade him to a division rival though. We'd have to have a ridiculous package to offer them.

The Marlins have never been afraid of trading huge pieces to the Division. Piazza, Lo Duca, Delgado...etc...(and that is just to the Mets).

Well, we had Lo Duca who I loved, but hopefully d'Arnaud can be even better.

My guess is we'll end up trading Niese for the right package. We might end up signing another big name pitcher in 2014 to pair with our young core. That's just my guess though.

We are trading Thole for Buck essentially and no dude, Gose was not available. I'd much rather have Snydergaard.

Yeah Gose was a need inquiry based on the horrible OF and major league ready OF depth.

There are still huge questions about Gose's bat which drastically impacts the effectiveness of his speed at the plate and on the basepads.

Syndegaard although still only in A ball could end up being the more impact spec.
