It's on Oregonlive.com and such, a beat writer asked one of the assistant coaches. Really doesnt surprise me, but I want nothing to do with Aldridge. Dude has nice stats, but totally overrated by a clueless Portland fan base. I would know.

I don't want Aldridge. There is only one person I would want from Portland and it's the same guy I was hoping the Jazz couldd've drafted last year and that's Damian Lillard. But we couldn't have gotten him anyway.

    Warriors come out and Ta-ank.

I doubt the jazz would do that. They have a stockpile of cap space next year and they use it all on mediocre players there

I would take Aldridge any day, put him along side Favors, and you have some nice shot blocking, and athletic defense. Mabye package a deal to get Mathews back here too, its a pipe dream, but we still can dream right?

All I know is, Utah is and has always been a Playoff team. We generally make it every year and I believe the guys who got Favors/Hayward/Burks/Kanter, really know what they are doing, so I trust whatever they do.

I can only take my limited experience to think of players who might work here, based on the outsider information I have.

I generally just read everything and make an opinion, but god knows what the Jazz are really doing. The only position that I would change right now is the bench PG's. I mean all 3 PG's will be FA, so its either keep Mo, or dump him. I say keep him, but get a guy who can play starter, but instead stays on the bench. Likes SAS Collison or LAC Crawford.

Supposedly, Toronto's leaning toward keeping Calderon and dishing Lowry. Any interest from Jazz Nation? For the record, I don't want any deal involving us taking on Bargnani's contract.

I posted it in another thread but:

    Toronto gets:
    Al

    Utah gets:
    Lowry
    Fields
    Gray

We save about 500,000 dollars this year. Talk about savings!

I like Lowry a lot but i would rather get Calderon. Lowry has health issues. Calderon would be better at developing our young guys. plus he is a great FT shooter.
