Was wondering if anyone had this and new how to play multi player with a wii remote and wii u gamepad on new super Mario bros u.
I know you can have one player as Mario on the wii remote and the other as a person who provides blocks and stuns enemies on the game pad. But I was wondering if one person could be Mario with the wii remote and another could be luigi or a toad with the gamepad. Anyone know anything about this?

No. Every time you use the gamepad it has to be for boost mode. Great game, but that's a really stupid choice on their part.

My best friend got a Wii U the day it came out, but he was in the middle of exams so he just started playing it. He says he could cuddle to sleep with it every night.
