    Hughes and Nova would have to be offered for the Angels to think about it. Personally i am hoping the Yankees are targeting Olt from Texas instead

    I would not want Trumbo at all . Pitching is more important than hitting and he is probably Hughes equal in talent as a hitter. he struck out a ton he hit over 30 bombs but his slugging was not even .500 and his on base was horrible not to mention he is not good defensively. Id rather take my chance with Hughes.heck Hughes was the Yankees 3rd best stasrting pitcher last year

    He's ok. Below average contact ability, no plate discipline, good power... Poor defensive player (good at 1B though)... Overrated.. He's a 2-3 WAR player which isn't bad but not as good as people make him out to be...

    ...What a coordinated flop looks like...

    Exactly. That team has spent big time and needs cheap quality talent. Trumbo won't get moved for a pitcher hitting FA next year.

    Great power and feasts on inferior pitching but strikes out too much in the clutch and not enough momentum production or small ball.
