At first I thought Wheeler should be ahead, but a premium elite catching prospect should be ahead so TDA gets the nod.

    Baseball America's top 10 list

I am just the opposite, a #2 starter should be ahead of an above average catcher.

ďNinety percent Iíll spend on good times, women, and Irish whiskey. The other ten percent Iíll probably waste.Ē

Your right because a kid who many dont believe will stay at SS and has "average" tools should be a top 100 prospect. And the consensus on this board was that it wasn't a good pick.

    I'm with YS I'd take D'Arnaud as #1.

Above average catcher is not TDA's ceiling and you know that. Otherwise he wouldn't be the best catching prospect in baseball. His ceiling is an all-star middle of the order bat at catcher, but not an MVP candidate like Posey.

He will stay at SS. Many people believe he is a good prospect, we will see.

Solid list imo, much better than Mayo's.

Mayo's new list of top 20 will come out this month, the one he had was for end season of 2012.

So basically, BA's updated top 10 would look like:

    1. Wheeler
    2. TDA
    3. Syndergaard
    4. Cecchini
    5. Nimmo
    6. Mateo
    7. Montero
    8. Flores
    9. Fulmer
    10. Familia

Doubt many teams can match that top 10.

If Havens and Urbina are still on the list, he has 0 credibility in my book.
