Pacquiao showing early signs of Parkinsons

Manny Pacquiao has some serious thinking to do.

Despite never examining him up close, neurologist Dr. Rustico Jimenez speculated Thursday that the Filipino boxer might be showing the first signs of Parkinson’s disease. Jimenez, president of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, said he was concerned about Pacquiao’s health after he suffered a hard knockout at the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez at the end of 2012.

Parkinson’s disease is one that has plagued some boxers late into their respective careers and has continued to affect them well after. Muhammad Ali currently suffers from Parkinson’s disease, does as Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach.

Dr. Jimenez isn’t alone in worrying about the boxer’s health. Dr. Raquel Fortun said she was not convinced by the CT scan results from Pacquiao’s post-fight exam, and “expressed alarm” over reports that Pacquiao could have had a slight seizure after Marquez knocked him out.

Retire bro. As much as a 5th fight would be entertaining, no need to risk his health. You're already a top 50 fighter all time. Nothing much to prove.

No doubt. Time to focus on the politics and work to help people back home.
#5 seems so ridiculous to even talk about. I don't even like watching him fight and he's always frankly bugged the **** out of me, but at the same time, on a purely human level, I think he should save his health now so he can enjoy his family and explore Life After Boxing.

If Manny retires, I wouldn't be surprised if Arum tries to sue Manny for not honouring his contract till the end of 2014.

The second one, at least, has apparently seen the CTs. (?)

The issue of the alleged seizure is of concern, regardless.

PAC has 2 fight dates lined up.

But it's disturbing a doctor would say something like this publicly, especially about someone who isn't his patient.

It would be like me looking at someone and telling the world he has aids. but hopefully PAC takes then proper precautions.

It takes alot to get a fighter to stop fighting, and by the looks in manny's eyes durring the post fight interview, he definately wants a rematch.

Maybe you didn't know what is Parkinson's disease and had to google it. Clear your data bro.
