Angry Non-Steeler fans and the hatred of Big Ben

How else can you explain Andrew Luck having 18 TD passes, 18 INTs, and 15,545 more Pro Bowl votes than Ben Roethlisberger?
"...more talking went on between us all until [Roethlisberger and his entourage] left the bar. Then I seperated with [name redacted] and the other girls and went with another group, and everything else happened, and I was told about it this morning and felt I needed to give my statement. Looking back and hearing all of the details, it seems to me that it was a set-up, and so I think this needed to be told."

We love Ben as much as you do, DBR, but please stop making thread after thread about him. ESPN is ridiculous and hypes up people like no other, we know that. They'll never hype up Roethlisberger, and we're ok with that.

Well, somebody's gotta counter all the ********, no? ESPN sure as hell won't. Even after taking my black and gold glasses off, I've honestly never seen a QB who plays so well get judged so poorly. Besides, if lies are repeated often enough, they become the truth, especially if there's no resistance to them. At this point I don't really try to change anybody's minds about him, but I do like to post little nuggets of information just in case a rare fan with a mind of his own comes along. I also like to ridicule those who think he's not very good.

Yeah, I do the same thing, but only responding to someone saying something stupid. Never instigate. Non-Steelers fans get tired of hearing it, and it's a gross generalization because there are a few who do recognize Ben. Just wait for one guy to say something, like Norm constantly talking about how Ben is just like he was four years ago, and respond. Of course you could get put on ignore like Norm did for me, but that's probably because he's stubborn as hell.

I like that ESPN refuses to acknowledge that Flacco and Rivers for quite some time actually really arent good.

It's all about hype... All the see is someone who was hyped and got this team in the playoffs.

& ESPN acknowledged Tebow more than the historical season Aaron Rodgers put together last year

I agree but try to avoid insulting other fan bases in the title. The fact is I personally wouldn't trade Ben for any other Qb in the league. He is a MVP type player but will never get the credit because of the way the steelers are looked at

Ben has never received any love. He's an awesome QB.

Though his decisions have effected millions, the way they think about him and our beloved Organziation. That's what has hurt his image. O well, he's innocent. So **** them

The Nevada allegation, he's innocent. Gold digger who's a bit crazy. The Georgia one, he's not innocent but we don't know if he's guilty. Bad, drunken night that was escalated even more because of his celebrity status, but the only people who know if he is guilty or innocent are him and the girl.

I still hear lame *** rape jokes here in Colorado. I don't get angry at the Ben haters, some people take joy in insulting others, I just choose to ignore them.

The police report said the girl didn't have intercourse. No sex=no rape.
