Jason Heyward or Giancarlo Stanton?

Yea 27 HR's is no power. He's not a 50 HR guy no but I dont see anything else other than power than Stanton does better than Heyward. Speed? No. Defense? No. He's young and will come around. People are acting like he's a bust at 23 lol.

Well sure if you under sell his kind of power in this stage of baseball then a simple comment to shrug it off is okay.

You just don't see this kind of power anymore and Stanton isn't a slouch on defense. Heyward's a great talent but, give me Stanton every time if I have to pick. He's the diamond in the rough in baseball right now. No one is dismissing Heyward but, I could say you are going to get a handful more Heywards before you come close to getting a few more Stantons in baseball. It's all about commodity.

He has so much power that he makes up for any negatives, and his walk rate will be heading north with that power before long.

Heyward is a really nice player, but Stanton is something more special and rare.

Far from an "insult." Heyward is superior on defense and baserunning, but has to continue improving vs lefties. Against RHP in '12, he had 20 HR and a .934 OPS, which was a 180 point jump from that awful 2011 season with all those injuries. His OPS against LHP went up 80 points last season, but is still too low.

It doesn't. But using a cumulative stat when one guy as played 100 more games isn't the most fair thing.
