    Jason Heyward or Giancarlo Stanton?

Which one would you rather have for the rest of their careers? No contract bias in here please, they should eventually be paid pretty similarly. Heyward is a stud defensively and brings some speed to the game. Stanton hits bombs, but doesn't do too much else, although he's solid all around. Discuss.

Its Giancarlo Stanton right now for sure. He is a plus defender and has huge power.

Heyward is a much better defender, lacks the power but does bring some speed.

I like Heyward a lot but the answer here is Stanton.
    Favourite Teams:

Boston Red Sox: 46-52, games this week vs. Blue Jays (4), Rays (3)
Indianapolis Colts: Good draft and off-season so far.
Looking for new NBA team to cheer for
Ottawa Senators: 37-31-14, season over, free agency begins this week.

Should have a poll, the results would be unanimous.

    Stanton all the way.

It's Stanton right now. His power is probably the best in the league. Heyward is the better baserunner and defender though

I like Heyward's all-around game more, but Stanton's power is too great to pass up.

    Stanton. Hands down IMO.
    GO METS!

19 Inning game...and the Pirates get ROBBED! Jerry Meals should get FIRED! And then just work for the Braves. What a shame for baseball.

Stanton for me as well. That kind of power just isn't out there anymore.

Giancarlo. Heyward is great potential but still hasn't hit it yet. Giancarlo has been more proven so far in his career

    Jason Heyward or Giancarlo Stanton?

Big hurt type power and plus defender. That don't come often.

Still hasn't hit yet? .377 wOBA in 2010 and .351 wOBA last year, I'd say those are both pretty great for a guy who is only 23..

Yea 27 HR's is no power. He's not a 50 HR guy no but I dont see anything else other than power than Stanton does better than Heyward. Speed? No. Defense? No. He's young and will come around. People are acting like he's a bust at 23 lol.
