Honestly if you look at the braves additions vs subtractions I like last years team much better. BJ replaces bourn which may end up a wash but Justin has to replace in essence both chipper and prado. Reuben did fine with what was available looking back. It is what he did before that hurts the most. Ruf or brown have to pan out

Agree 10000% and for the Braves its not just the Upton vs Bourn, Upton vs Chipper/Prado discussion. McCann is injured, hoping for a mid-April return, loss of Tommy Hanson and Tim Hudson is a year older. Also, I suspect Uggla will be even worst this year but this is probably negated by Simmons probably improving slightly. I do not see the Braves as a 90 win team, I think the Upton brother hype is the equivalent of the Cromartie - Asomugha hype for the Eagles two years ago.

The Braves may be the most well-rounded team in baseball. Their only substantial hole is position player depth. As long as they aren't decimated by injuries to position players, 90 wins should be an easy hurdle for them.

That said, I agree that they aren't a lock to be a dominant team.
