Thats why I love Jeter and Mo so much. It's not easy to find loyal players in the MLB, but there are a special few that are.
Our QB > Yours
That reminds me of when Glavine went to the Mets.. I understand being leader of the union and should go to the highest bidder (And the extra year). But really the effin mets?I just can't view him as a brave after going to them.

5 years I believe 100 million?
I don't care who you are or what sport you play or in what generation you play it in. If those are my two contracts offers, its a no-brainer.
Not to mention Pujols' has another contract that kicks in after this one. 10 year deal at 1 million a year I believe it was. Office job.

Loyalty isn't mandatory.
Players will and should go to wherever they think they have the best opportunity to be happy.
Just because someone trades for or drafts a player, doesn't mean he has to stay there for his entire career if he doesn't want to.
Just because the fans love seeing a guy play for a certain team doesn't mean the player actually loves playing for that team. Just a heads up
What about fan loyalty? Many Rangers fans booed and harassed Hamilton last year?
"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson
You guys probably ain't loyal to people when there's no money involved, don't act like you would with millions of dollars on the table
