With acquiring Francisco Liriano from the twin cities and Catcher Russell Martin from the yanks...how will the 2013 Pittsburgh pirates season play out? Should we expect another missed playoff season and still be around 79-83 when the season is over? Or will we see a much better bucos team this time around? Possibly NL central division winners. Heres what writer Jim Caple had to say about the buccos upcoming season...he breaks down his 2013 predictions for every month this MLB season. Oh and tell me why the bucs won't have a historic collapse like they did came August and September 2012? If yes why will the pirates succeed come the last 2 months of the regular season if again they have a repeat like last season being hot in June and July and suddenly falling apart again come August/September? Could a controversial call like Jerry meals calling Julio lugo safe in that 19 inning affair happen again this year? Even though it didnt this year just asking.
You don't have to read it but what I'm saying is that remember the beginning of last year when the pirates got off to a sluggish start in the month of April and May...they just weren't hitting and pitching like they were when it came to the summertime in June and July when they got very hot. Do you see this happening again or will the pirates get off to a tremendous start and by the end of let's say may will the pirates have the best record in the NL or in baseball which they had in July 2012 I believe when they were 15 games over .500. To make a long story short are the pirates right now heading into this season from top to bottom their whole lineup are they more talented then cincy and St. Louis this year? And Milwaukee? Is this the year the pirates will make the postseason or again come up short like last year and have like a...lets see an 77-83 record or a 82-82 record even?
