Reports of the 5 Million dollar salary were way overblown. 100K signing bonus and will receive a miniscule minor league salary until added to the 40 man roster.

I'd rather he be making the $5 million, because that might mean there was more of a chance of him being good. He seems pretty much like a non-entity at this point. Long shot to be even a marginal contributor.
