They've been pretty good against the pass this year, which might surprise some people considering Revis has been out.

Not one receiver has gone for 100 yards against them so far, they've only allowed the opposing QB to go over 200 yards 4 times, and only Brady got over 300 yards on Thanksgiving.
Def not me. Most of my friends are Jets fans and I watch 90% of the games if the Pats aren't on at the same time and even if it is both games are usually on simultaneously.

With that said, Cro has been lights out this year!! Rex is great on the Defensive side he's just lacking talent at some positions due to age and so forth. If you O was able to sustain a few drives and give the D some rest time no doubt this team would be exponentially better. Look @ 2009 and 2010 for example.

With that said your RunD has been on a down but I think some of that is attributed to being on the field too much during spans of the game.

I think it's been more about lacking speed at the LB position. Pace, Scott, and Thomas can't get to the outside. Now that the Jets are going to more 4-3 sets with the emergence of Mo and Coples, they have Harris and Davis at LB who are all over the field, and have a nose for the ball.

Cro has been lights out, and Wilson has been better than he gets credit for. Unfortunately Jets fans expect him to be Revis, and no one can. Revis is a once in a generation CB, and it could be a very long time before another one like him comes along.

Currently, and on the season - the Jets' offense leads the defense in time of possession (including OT) - but lets get off this big excuse that our defense is out there for the majority of the game. It simply isn't true.

With regular game time - the offense is on the field 29:39 and the D is on 30:21 - we're ranked 19th in T.O.P.

    GO JETS!!!

Do I think we could do a better job - YES - but getting off the field on 3rd down is just as important as the offense sustaining drives. Be fair.

    GO JETS!!!

Most of the people who use the TOP argument are looking for excuses to blame Sanchez for everything that's wrong with the Jets. It's his fault the D has struggled because he can't sustain drives. It's his fault the ST sucks because they are desperated to make plays knowing that the offense can't. It's Sanchez's fault the run game sucks.

If they could, they'd blame Sanchez for hurricane Sandy. I'm sure someone already has a theory on how it was his fault.

So true my friend, but wait....wasn't it Sanchez's pouty face that invited Hurricane Sandy in -NO - no jokes about tragedy - sorry.

We all, or at least all Jet Fans that really want to win, and not just biotch, biotch, biotch (should be able to write that - it's on TV for goodness sakes - not that I agree with it) wish Mark Sanchez would be playing up to the potential he entered this league with. Even Sanchez haters, most of them, have recognized that NOTHING has been done to develop him into the Franchise QB we want - but he is exactly what REX created - with his philosophy, total lack of understanding offense - particularly modern offense, and his penchant for spending the majority of all our assets on defense so that he can always claim, "Well, we have a top 5 defense," when everybody knows - defense is great - but it doesn't win championships, and running games are great, but usually only to keep a team from being one dimensional in an aggressive passing offense. You pass to get out ahead, run to take off some time, and continue to pass to build your lead, and hopefully spring some long TD runs (when was the last time we had one?), and then run to finish the game - hopefully when you've buried a team, and they've got one foot in the locker room. We have done NOTHING in this regard - and truly - our defense isn't that good. Sure, we can stop Arizona, and slow down the Jags - but we haven't stopped 1 top flight team, and we often let weak teams have a shot at the end of the game. THIS IS JUST A STUPID WAY TO PLAY PRO FOOTBALL, but hey - it's a lot easier to blame Sanchez, who will have Kerley, Schilens and Cumberland to throw to this weekend. Go figure.

    GO JETS!!!

Funny you should say that. Have you seen some of Sanchez passes? Just saying

No I have not seen some of Sanchez's passes. I've seen all of them. Not just some.

This is another typical argument of the haters. "Have you seen some of his passes? Have you seen this play, or that play? Did you see him run into Moore's ***?"

I realized a while back that there is no point in debating the Sanchez issue with people like you because you always resort to looking at only the negatives. People who only focus on the negative or the positive fail to see the big picture. Trying to debate with people like that makes my hair hurt.

It's one of the reasons that Bart Scott's act has gotten so tired.

I hope we get the cowgirl's game locally. I'll be rooting so hard for them,to at least make Monday night more meaningful. Then again, we'll probably screw it up anyway.

If Sanchez had any balls, he'd play well and taunt that douchebag defensive tackle after his touchdowns, similar to what Brady did to Ryan Clark in 07.

    But he won't.
