Is the NFL designed more for the Offense or Defense to succeed?
Or is it pretty fair for both sides of the ball.

No offence but this is a pretty retarded question.
It's clear that the NFL has altered rules to allow offenses to be more prolific.
Embrace who you are
But whats required of a WR to make a catch:
football move
two feet in
cradle the ball even while on the ground
Seems a bit much to me mostly the hold the ball on the ground part
WR can not push off on routes any more, crack back hits illegal, CB can have a hand on a WR all day long as long as he looks for the ball...............

There is no doubt todays NFLwants more big exciting plays, more scoring. They realize their target audience isn't that old dude still hung up on 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
But....
If you can really run the ball, play defense and special teams while winning the turnover battle you can win in any NFL. Just ask the Niners.

Should have made a poll so the results can show you how obvious of a question this is.
Five rounds went by in the 2000 draft... After 198 other players had been chosen, the Patriots drafted him in the sixth round.
Owner Robert Kraft recalls the night he was leaving the old Foxboro Stadium when he saw "this skinny beanpole" carrying a pizza. "He comes up and says, 'Mr. Kraft, I'm Tom Brady.' I said, 'I know who you are, you're our sixth-round draft choice from Michigan.' "And he looked me right in the eye and he said, 'and I'm the best decision this organization has ever made.' "
offense rather eaisly
