Wink So, anybody need a RB?

Rashard Suspendenhall will be available after this season. He has a lot of physical talent, so I'm sure he'll be a good fit somewhere, anywhere other than where he is now (at home, sitting alone on his couch with his arms folded across his chest, staring up at the corner of the ceiling in the distance, similar to the way he sits alone on the sideline with his arms folded across his chest, staring at the sky). Besides, if he's good enough to make a game-changing play in the Super Bowl, then you really can't go wrong with him. Hell, just look at this picture and tell me that he wasn't born to run. You can't possibly be any more secure with the ball than that, especially if it's radioactive.

As for his suspension, the only problem I have with it is that it sets a dangerous precedent. If the team is going to fine him for not showing up at the stadium this past Sunday, then how many players won't be suspended, 10?

Meh-denhall. Underwhelming RB worth a look as a compliment back.

Trade deadline passed a looong time ago, and no one's going to give up a high draft pick for him in the offseason with the RB position having been devalued in recent years due to the pervasiveness of the pass-first offense. You can also find a good RB after the 2nd round, e.g. DeMarco Murray was a 3rd-round pick. There'll also be some decent FA RB's available like Reggie Bush and Steven Jackson.

Does he sit alone on the sideline with a thousand-yard stare?

He probably does in the trainer's room, which is where he is much more often than on the sideline, but I can't personally confirm that.

I liked Mendenhall. Wish we could have seen him healthy in 2009-2011, the days he wasn't fumbling, with a healthy offensive line and good play calling. It's tough to run behind a line that can't open up holes, with a play caller who makes the direction so obvious that the defense knows where you're going as well as you do. If only he and DeCastro had both been healthy with Haley.

Oh well. Good luck to whichever team signs him, he has promise and could be a good running back. Could still be the 2300 yard, 20 TD back from 2009-2010 we saw. Just not in Pittsburgh.

And about the Super Bowl play, both David Johnson AND Doug Legursky whiffed horribly. Can't completely fault Mendy there.

Last year followed Ike Taylor's amazing season (Believe it or not, there were more games than the playoffs in Denver) This year, it's two at once with the...

Colts have a ton of money to spend next offseason. Maybe he'll reunite with Arians.

Nobody is gonna give up anything for him. He was sick at Illinois, especially against USC in their bowl game. Colts make sense to me.

Why yes, yes we do, glad you asked. We'll take your criminals, your bad attitudes, all of 'em... as long as he can get 4 yards a carry, we don't care. Then you can have Michael Turner and let us know how that goes. Deal?
