Skip Schumacher to the Dodgers per espn
Get the **** out of our conference.
Texas is reeling from losing Greinke, Daniels is going to have to overpay somewhere, I say Garza for Olt, a top pitching spec and 2 fringe specs.
If Hamilton signs elsewhere, we can throw in Soriano for even more.
I would like to send one of Garza or Samardzija to Texas for some of their preciouses. Totally agreed that they are starved for a starter right now. Olt potentially could look mighty good completing a young infield with strong defenders at each position.
Then send riders to the North to rescue the damsel Rick Porcello from ****** defense.
Add a FA starter like Jackson, Dempster, or Marcum (maybe even 2 with Liriano), and I may not feel so bored with this team in 2013.
My last few threads were better.
No one tell New Era I said this but he's like so totally lame.
Down in this vagina mine.

Man, I really wish we could have gotten in on some Trevor Bauer action.

It seems to me that Tampa, Arizona and Cleveland are mostly set now on big pieces and they'll probably only make smaller trades at this point. I think Cleveland can build around Cabrera at this point and Arizona will look to build around Upton for now. Arizona still has some sexy pitching but I'm surprised they didn't aim higher with Bauer.
I'm jealous that the Dodgers have a glut of pitching and can use some of that to add smaller pieces or replenish their minor league system.
as of right now I would be excited for any type of action.... i wondering how hoystein's vacation has been because this team sucks donkey nuts right now... even worse than last year.... no way the rockies beat us to 100 losses this year
How do you say that when this team has upgraded tons since last year.
We lost two pitchers and replaced them with two similar and one when healthy could be better than all of them on the roster.
We addressed our ****** bullpen which cost us 25 + games last year.
We brought back a better 3rd basemen and he should produce better than what we had there last year. Everything else remains the same except our younger players should continue to get better.
Volstad - GONE
Wells - GONE
BAKER -GONE
Dewitt - GONE
Soto -GONE
Dempster 30/70
LETS GO CUBBIES...LETS GO DUKE!!!
who? we had stewart last year and he didn't do anything but hit 201 and OBP 627........ yeah! im so excited!
I will say our Bullpen should be better... but I highly doubt our rotation is much better at this point. Too many question marks.... we had Dempster pitching out of his mind last year ... we don't have anyone to replace that.
