he hasn't been perfect, but he's been plenty good enough. he has proven he can do the regular season thing but he will have to prove that he can win in the playoffs this year. it all gets wiped if we don't make it to at least the 2nd round of the playoffs.

While x's and o's wise he might not be the best I think his demeanor no bs, never to high or low attitude is exactly what this team needs. Like after a good win Dantoni would be cracking jokes in the postgame but Woody is always thinking big picture and knows there are more games to be played. He handles egos very well as well.

Ok....he has a 3 year deal left...so extension is out....and whats not to like about this guy??? Whats not to like about a guy who has just as much credit as mello for uplifting this franchise??? Be honest..when has mike made one bad coaching decision?
If this was the zen master with a 34 & 11 record ...ppl all over would be calling us title contenders... did you not see how when felton was trying to play hero too much in the denver game that he benched him for almost 14 minutes? This caoch isnt your top of the line greg pop or jerry sloan or even a top 5 coach as far as the media is concerned....but.......BUT...... if we go to the ECF with this guy then their better be a pedestal waitng for him because count all the " supposed to be hall of fame coaches " that have coached this team in 12 years and they've never ever got less than half of the results hes gotten out of our 16 - 5 knicks...

Yeah that irritates coach woody, he would always point out during the summer his Hawks team was 2nd in Offensive rating his last season and looking at the way he runs plays out of time outs he has right to be mad.

He's the best X's and O's we have had since Jeff Van Gundy.
