    looked at LAL's remaining schedule:

tough games: 13 games against playoff bound teams
possible wins: lots of games against lottery bound teams - PHO, MIN, NO, SAC, ORL, TOR
50-50 games: DAL, POR, 8th seed HOU and BOS (no Rondo)

conservative prediction - 12 losses from here on in: 45-37

would that be enough for them to make it?

........ i'll start cheering for UTAH, HOUSTON, DALLAS, and PORTLAND from now on!

That is a terrible prediction.... So you think they'll win roughly 30 of their next 40 or so games? Possible? yes....Probable? No.

They'll lose at least 15-17 more games. They have lost games to the likes of Sacramento and Cleveland already this year. While their chemistry is getting better...they won't stay healthy all year and who knows what they'll do with Pau

Once Kobe realizes that his true identity is one of a chucker, Lakers will go back to being bad.

Nobody here actually thought Kobe's gonna keep averaging 14 assists a game did they?

that was a very conservative prediction i should say, what i meant to say but forgot to mention was it probably is the worst case scenario -- it is safe to say they'll lose more games than that, apologies

We have to figure they have a big win streak in them. On the positive note, they aren't just going to get in by winning. They need help as well.
Despite their better play of late, they are still 4.5 back of the 8th seed.

I'm most def rooting for the Suns tomorrow. They are travelling and they are on a back to back while we're well rested. If Tucker can somewhat contain Kobe, I like our chances.

Same here. My desire for us to tank is greatly offset by my hatred to the Lakers, pick or no pick lol

I'll definitely be rooting for our guys, because we'll still lose alot of games. The more we beat them the better.

Lol I'm not Tom. I have no idea what happened to our Polish friend; he dropped off the face of PSD.

I'm going for LA. I really, really want us to have the best possible chance at getting the 1st overall pick this year. I'd be happy if we lost every game from here on out.

EDIT: Upon re-reading your post Rocky, I'm thinking that tom = tomorrow. If so, my bad
