Indeed. Slim hopes for the #1 seed but cannot see that happening now.

So much for that "pethetic" 49ers offense.

(Aimed at a very foolish poster earlier in the thread)

49ers were lucky to win that one.

I wonder what the game would be like if the weather was fair.

you sir are a classy fan and rep your fan base well. Good luck the rest of the way. And good game. I will now go to bed and have Tom Brady nightmares.

Good luck in the playoffs. To be honest, I like the way your team plays, but I'll be cheering against you guys making it to the SB if the Pats make it that far. It's a sign of respect for that defense/matchups/etc... I'd rather we face a team with less of a defense and hope for the best in a shootout.

The pats had 2 fumbles and lost them both.

The 49ers had 6 fumbles and lost only one.

Not making excuses, but to say N.E. got all the calls and had everything going their way is ludicrous

I am ok with that if we still end up getting the the number 2 seed. Also I would rather have our Broncos visit Houston than New England if it came down to it.

The underdog teams late in the year are very dangerous.

    Packers Pats.

    It needs to happen.

All in all, if the Panthers are going to select a QB, Gabbert has to be the pick.
    People take this guy seriously?

Final score 59-58. Crosby misses the winning FG. I'm there.

As for their offense... I like CK, but he was aided by some penalties. I didnt see many intermediate throws, just deep throws hoping for penalties.

I don't see the Niners in the Bowl this year. I like them, I really do, but they're not a Super Bowl team. I still say: Pats, Denver, GB, ATL. We will see any combo of those 4.
Come on man. I'm not going to make excuses for losing our 28 point lead. We almost lost but please give credit where credit is due. We played the best offense in the league and stopped Brady where it counted the most, at the end.
