Does NFL helmets equipment need to be improved to prevent injury and concussions?

So do you think the game should come up with an alternative to tackling?

No, I think there is an inherent risk assumed while playing in the NFL and nothing should change.

no piece of plastic/metal/leather/carbon fiber/etc... is going to prevent concussions when u have 300 lb athletes going full speed into eachother

its an accepted hazard of the profession

    Moar threads please.
To some, he was just a boy. A boy who played football, a football player that grew to be a man. A man that took over a city, a city that he made his own, a city that stands behind him in hopes of becoming one of that cities all-time greats. To some, 2013 was a fluke. To some, he can't do it again. To some, he got lucky.

To us though, to the Philly faithful, that QB is Nick Foles. To us, that's our QB.

The helmets aren't the problem, they're as good as they're gonna get. People are just too big and fast now. It's not things hitting the head, it's the overall whiplash that really screws up the brain

Playing in the NFL is kind of like being a Looper (spoiler alert). You know you're gonna die within 30 years of your career ending, but you do it anyway because it's easier than getting a real job and pays way more.
    We're better than you
    And we know it
