Back issues hurt is swing...he is over that now and the .300 hitter of old is back just like Wade Boggs did.......

Nobody is saying he will be as productive as he was, say 2010. Anyone who follows baseball know he's been in a decline the last few years. All I'm saying is I think its feasable he puts up productive numbers that will help this team win. We are in better shape now then we were an hour ago. We have a 3B. Glass half full.

Nunez can DH, since he has a DECENT bat. And that will keep his glove off the field.

So right now our lineup looks like this (assuming Ichiro signs)

    1. Ichiro RF
    2. Jeter SS
    3. Cano 2B
    4. Tex 1B
    5. Granderson LF
    6. Youk 3B
    7. DH?
    8. Romine/ Cervelli C
    9. Gardner CF
Would that lineup scare any of you? A lot of uncertains

Would you take a flyer on Thome? He said today he still wants to play. Would be a good bat off the bench. DH him at home with that short porch.

When that DH turns into Arod, it'll look pretty good.
