since were talking about the stadium i was thinking, is anyone else surprised that McCort didn't sell the nameing rights to dodger stadium? because when he was hurting for cash that would have been a really easy way to generate some extra revenue.

Because hell will break loose. A riot might ensue if ever that happens. Also, i'm not sure you can change the name of the stadium after it was built. If you can, it will probably need the approval of the commish. If so, I don't think Selig would like that at all.

Speaking of $100 million dollar renovations...

I see that PSD.com was updated recently to the new (and stable) format. To raise the spirits of some that are still upset that Pau Gasol isn't traded, the Laker forum was updated from the default red and black colors to the purple and gold Laker colors.

Since Spring Training opens in a month or so...I am wondering if we could "bring some Dodger blue" to the Dodger forum? Feels too "Diamondback-ish" in here.

Hated the new site at first, growing on me, still not in love though
