Unless he hits like 2011. Too many people are forgetting we're a year away where we couldnt give Alfonso Soriano away if we wanted to. I think we're getting just a little too greedy and a little too reliant on 2012 Soriano coming back.

As I posted in another thread, he's almost as likely to put up a 2011 season as a 2012 at this point.

Meh, I don't think that's going to last. 35+ and noted leg issues.

Why must you always tease us Theo! If this trade was offered I would do it in a heart beat.

It might be something as simple as the Astros calling the Cubs and saying, "Hey, how serious is that Soriano fella about not DH'ing?" And the Cubs responding with, "Not sure, we'll ask him. What did you have in mind?"

Doesn't hurt to ask and takes all of, maybe 30 seconds.

Maybe they (TB or Hou) think they can convince him to accept doing it... a la Dempster with Braves.

#Phillies were initially uninterested when #Cubs approached them on Soriano. Now kicking it around but a long shot to actually happen.

I highly doubt Soriano accepts a trade anywhere since LAD are out of the equation. I just don't see him accepting any trade. He'll be a Cub for the next two years imo.
