Of course BC would have needed to like Ross as well in order to draft him, but Casey was definitely the defining reason as to why our offseason went the way it did.

Colangelo wanted to make the playoffs. He made his moves to make sure it works with what Casey could work with.

If it was Casey who wanted Ross so bad then why isn't Ross playing more? Wouldn't Casey want Ross to look Good in front of the front office?

From what I've seen (behind the draft) it was Stefanski who was big on Ross and BC acted on Stefs recommendation.

Honestly, Ross is not the problem at least he can dribble at the SG position.

IMO, BC listened to Casey on other players ie) anderson, Lucas, Gray, McGuire etc

Casey isn't a pushover who'll baby someone. He wants you to work for it.

That could also be the case with Stefanski. I am not sure of that. But from what I know, Casey was actually a big fan of Ross and was watching him a lot in college impressed with his game.

Yup useless... his big attraction was his shooting and it's been terrible so far, I know its only 20 games into his rookie season but it's still pretty bad. He also NEVER gets to the line, and he isn't strong enough to guard anybody bigger than himself. When AA and Fields come back he will probably get almost no minutes at all.

    Lololololol.

Bargnani has already proven himself in a sense that he can play at a good level while Ross hasn't done anything yet.

True somewhat. But what about when Ross was playing good and Andrea been sucking. Andrea gets his minutes no matter what. While guys like Davis and ross make a mistake and are pulled out the game.

Well Bargnani has earned his ranking from past season's play compared to what other people on the team have provided. He's said before that it was Bargnani and Derozan's team because they performed the best from the previous season. So I guess he gives them more leeway.

Lakers' top PG trade target, of course, has long been Pau's pal Jose Calderon. But Raps, to this point, want to attach Jose to a bigger deal

Bring Gasol the **** over here already. Then we can trade Gasol for Pekovic and Derrick Williams.

We keep Derrick Williams then trade Pekovic for a team that needs a C while getting us a young piece.

This season is a mess. I will admit that I was one of the many who thought Colangelo would be great for us when he came here, but for one reason or another it just hasn't worked out. That being said, I dont want a major trade being made by BC. I'm afraid he would do something stupid like getting Pau just to try to salvage the season and save his job. I'd rather a new GM come in NOW and trade away Barg and Caldy for picks and players we can grow with to improve this team long term. I don't want a bandaid sollution.

I'd take Devin Harris & their First for Bargs, then Flip Caldrone somewhere.Don't know if the Hawks will do it since they want to have cap flexibility.

Looks an awful lot like Wrongbar. He was a surprise guest for SBTRKT.

lakers top target apparently is jose calderon.

because he is "garbage" we should amnesty him... lucas an lowry are deadly pg combo. with them running the show sky is the limit.

and then trade bargs for a second round pick... this is an awesome return for another "garbage" player

    Champs will be champs...
