Underrated player, he could certainly be in the discussion considering he outplayed candidate Watt last night and has had a great season.

VW won't win, he won't even place. However, he's playing one of his top seasons this year on his way to Canton. DL's under BB don't pile up stats most look for when voting for a DPOY, but like when Seymour on the Pats, he's had games when he dominated, and didn't get a single sack or tackle.

Interior DL's often have their best seasons from ages 30-35, so he should be around for awhile.

Vince is the man and is the most under appreciated player in the league dude is a force and should get dpoy consideration but he plays a position where he won't get numbers for serious consideration

Ngata plays 3-4 end and I'm fairly sure everyone considers Vince Wilfork better than Justin Smith.

Vince is an absolute monster. He really controls the O line. So fun watching him play.

But having said that, voters look for the sexy stats. Mainly sacks.

I agree. He is a monster. When he wants to there is no force in the league that can touch him. If he doesn't win then the award is a sham.
