    I think they should move Gardner and Hughes out for a power bat....Gardner s really not a need with Ichy back....but missing Swisher's bat is a loss so make a trade and get Upton...

    Trade Hughes, Gardner, Sanchez, along with 2 other teams and get Upton. The Yanks do not have enough so find 2 other partners and make it happen.

    I wouldn't trade a guy who actually outproduces his contract value in multiples and adds a sorely missed dynamic on the field.

    With Ichiro and Gardner in the lineup, the Yankees will have a ton of speed to burn. Not to mention excellent defense covering ground in Center and Right Field.

    On days where Eduardo Nunez is also in the lineup, you will have 3 players going from base to base, being aggressive, and pushing the envelope. That in and of itself, is a drastic improvement already over last years team where for a long time, Arod led in stolen bases...

    If the Yankees can bring in a Scott Hairston, Matt Diaz, lefty killer type our OF will be just fine.
