    Alfonso Soriano Reunion?

The Cubs are reportedly willing to eat $26 of the $36 Mil. left on his deal. Does Cashman get the green-light and go after him as a bench/4th OF/DH type. He's a righty power bat, and lord knows we can us one of those.

He could split outfield time with Ichiro. Final year of deal. Yankees need to replace some power lost with swisher and martin.

    Anything could happen.

Just FYI, we do have an off-season thread for this kinda stuff.

I would definitely do this. Soriano for 5 million dollars is a steal with this market.

The Yankees need right handed power, the Yankees need a Designated Hitter, and they don't want to give up much to get it.

Cashman and Epstein have always wanted to make a deal with one another. This would be the way to go.

He can play some Outfield with a really tough lefty on the mound if needed but would primarily be our Right Handed DH.

Being a contract season, hitters park, reunites with Jeter with all that considered yes they should bring him back. DH and part time fielder. And is a slightly better postseason hitter then Swisher
