I was a big fan from the late 80's up until the late 90's and then started getting more in to music and other ****. Came back with a vengeance once I finally bought a TV in 2002.

Not compared to '10 and '12. My day to day temperament was negatively affected for months after the last game of the '02 World Series.

I was pretty pissed for a long time after that at 13. We hung a stuffed monkey from our living room fan until we finally won the World Series in 2010.

Yeah losing to Anaheim sucked but I think I was more devestated by the loss to Florida the next year. By that time I was a pretty big fan. I remember just going for a long *** walk after Snow got thrown out at the plate because I was so devestated.

When I saw Pudge hold up the ball, I despised him. Truly hated. And **** Jeff Conine too.

Steve Finleys walk off grand slam was epic that same weekend the angels beat the A's for the division too lol.

It's weird because i don't think anyone knew it at the time but that was the end of an era, the bonds championship window had closed in fact both our teams sucked from that point until 2008 for the dodgers and 2010 for the giants.

it's funny that weekend was also the end of the A's for the most part, if it wasn't for hitting the jackpot with Frank Thomas in 06 they wouldn't have made the playoffs and would have had a 7 year window of nothing. That off season they traded off 2 of the big 3 aces, tejada was gone giambi was gone and Chavez couldn't stay healthy.
